Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

OpenSCAD is an open source computer-aided design (CAD) program. Originally written by: Jakob Stokvis and Martin O. Svensson, it is under copyright by the open source community and is licensed under the MIT license. OpenSCAD is primarily used as an educational tool to teach both 2D and 3D CAD and graphics. OpenSCAD can also be used for projects in other fields. OpenSCAD provides a large selection of shapes, which can be combined and rotated to make solid objects, and even a set of functions for animation.
SketchUp is a parametric modeling program for the construction of 3D architectural models and homes. Originally designed as a software-based alternative to traditional drafting and architectural design methods, SketchUp is a parametric 3D modeling application that allows users to construct models from «sketches» that describe 3D architectural designs. It was designed by Paul Budnitz and SketchUp, LLC is based in San Francisco, California. It is marketed as a non-commercial product, and distributed for free. The application is used in multiple ways, depending on user preference, including: for architectural design and development; construction document generation; mechanical design and drafting; visualization of construction projects; game development; and education.
CAD is used by a variety of professionals in the fields of architecture, engineering, graphics, product design, product development, construction, real estate and home design, landscape architecture, and interior design. Because of its use in product design, architects are the most common users of CAD. They use CAD to create 3D models of their building designs, which are then given to engineers for analysis, such as where steel beams, pipe walls, etc. are to be placed, and how much space is to be allotted for window openings, etc.
Design Drafting programs
A design drafting program is a computer application for creating and modifying a 2D or 3D drawing. Most CAD programs allow for a variety of different techniques to be used to design objects. These techniques may be used sequentially or in parallel, and can include: extrusion, tessellation, solid and wireframe modeling, and freehand sketching. The design may also be analyzed by sections or exploded into layers. A user may be able to select the desired technique, or the application may select it automatically. Some programs allow the user to edit the design interactively, allowing him or her to change the design details while

Calc is a general purpose spreadsheet program first published in 1982, and currently available on Windows and Mac OS X. It is a spreadsheet application using a table-based approach and includes a spreadsheet formula language, so users can create formulas that use numeric, string, logical and mathematical functions. The application has features common to other spreadsheet programs, such as functions, defined tables and functions, formulas, number and text format formatting and cell alignment.
Origin is a vector graphics editor developed by Macromedia, first released in 1989. In 1997, Macromedia closed down Macromedia and merged it with Adobe Systems. The software, including its logo, was later adopted by Adobe as a product label for its Illustrator and InDesign applications.
When first released, Origin was a competitor to Adobe Systems’ flagship program Adobe Photoshop, providing a simple, yet powerful, vector editor. It also provided a simple to use, yet powerful, raster editor, where each tool had dedicated hotkeys. Its development was discontinued in 2001.

3D Studio Max
3D Studio Max is an application primarily for modeling, texture mapping and animation. It is the successor to the discontinued Modo. Its development has been temporarily suspended in 2010 and again since 2014.
3D Studio Max, first released in 2003, is a modular application that provides a standardized set of tools for 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and file format compatibility.
3D Studio Max provides a collection of specialized application nodes and nodes for importing and exporting data, animation, and linking to other programs. 3D Studio Max features a powerful raytracing engine, a core node library, and a library of supporting application nodes. The raytracing engine was created by 3D Realms, and a version for the Xbox video game console was released. 3D Studio Max is a popular application, with an active developer community.
CorelDRAW is an raster graphics editor first released in 1993. The name was changed to CorelDRAW in 1997, to reflect the increasing prominence of vector graphics on the web, rather than traditional raster graphics, and to reflect the philosophy of creating software that can handle both types of files.
CorelDRAW 8 is a vector graphics editor with several unique features, including the ability to edit high resolution files and design workspaces. Version 8.

Growth and yields of tomato plants grown in agroecosystems differing in nutrient sources and soil texture.
Growth and yields of tomato plants (Lycopersicon esculentum L. Mill.) grown in agroecosystems with different soil textures and a nutrient source manipulated in the agroecosystem, were compared. Soil texture was changed from fine clay soil to a coarse loamy sand soil. We applied the following nutrient sources to agroecosystems, as a substitute for the mineral fertilizer: lime, chicken litter, cow dung compost, and a mixture of peat and poultry litter. Tomato plants grew in all treatments. The largest fruit yield was found in the presence of cow dung compost. All crops with the exception of the plant with no treatment grew better in the fine soil than in the coarse soil, regardless of the applied nutrient source. The highest yield was reached by plants with no nutrient source and this result was the same in both soils. There was no significant relationship between yield and the various forms of N (ammonium and nitrate) or P. As far as the form of P was concerned, the only significant relationship was between the root dry weight and the percentage of inorganic P in the soil. It is concluded that the source of nutrients does not seem to be important, since the same good growth was obtained in different nutrient sources. FILED
